Explanation 説明
Presents an action as a benefit given by the subject to another person. The receiver may be marked with に when the underlying verb allows it.

How related patterns differ 比較
てあげる, てくれる, and てもらう differ in the direction of benefit and viewpoint. ていただけませんか makes a polite request. ましょうか often offers help; changing the subject can change the meaning.
